High Weald is a beautiful and tastefully decorated  5 star villa in the heart of the Franschhoek village.  The accommodation has been decorated with luxurious furnishings giving it a lovely clean and welcoming feel. 

The accommodation consists of a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom.  There are a further 2 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and a large family bathroom.  All the bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. 

The living area is double volumed, with a well equipped open plan kitchen, comfortably furnished living, dining area with a Cape Country/African feel.

The patio doors open onto a private garden and patio.  The covered verandah is fully equipped with patio furniture and braai facilities, making it a wonderful spot to sit in the evening and enjoy some of the lovely wines that the area has to offer.  The verandah also overlooks a beautiful sparkling swimming pool. 

High Weald is popular with couples, families and larger parties as it can sleep upto 8 people at a times with its sofa bed in the study.  Children are also very welcome

The Villa is fully equipped and alarmed and has a lockup garage and off street parking.

The local wine estates produce some of South Africa's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of the best restaurants in South Africa. Franschhoek is within easy reach of Cape Town (Airport 45 minutes) and lovely beaches along the coast.

Outdoor activities include walking, horse-riding, mountain-biking, and fly-fishing for trout in the local dams.

Stays longer than 14 nights receive a 10% discount except during December, Janaury and February
