This charming luxury Cape Dutch style cottage is located next to Iris Cottage in a tranquil corner of beautiful Franschhoek village, just a short walk from the art galleries, restaurants and shops on the High Street.

Immaculately decorated and furnished in a Cape country style, Heidi Cottage has 2 bedrooms  (choice of twin beds or a queen bed), 2 bathrooms, a separate cottage style kitchen and large separate lounge/dining room with feature fireplace and underfloor heating. The patio doors lead onto a large sunny verandah covered with grape vines, and an established very private garden filled with flowers and a delightful swimming pool. The front of the house is fringed with white rose and lavender bushes.

The private bougainvillea filled side garden with mountain views is the perfect place to sit for a sundowner after a hard day by the pool or wine-tasting!

The house is alarmed and has off-street parking and a garage. The house is fully equipped and includes a washing-machine/tumble-drier, microwave, ceiling fans and a satellite tv/dvd player.

The local wine estates produce some of South Africa's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of the best restaurants in South Africa. Franschhoek is within easy reach of Cape Town (Airport 45 minutes) and lovely beaches along the coast.

Outdoor activities include walking, horse-riding, mountain-biking, and fly-fishing for trout in the local dams.
